CIARA

Ciara is proficient in guitar, piano, and ukulele, she is also a singer-songwriter.

At a young age Ciara began piano and guitar lessons. She then developed an interest of picking up a variety of new instruments, including the kalimba and cajox box. In her teenage years, Ciara enjoyed song writing and performing in a band. She has always enjoyed collaborating with other musicians, sharing her passion for music with others. Her band came 1st in her secondary school’s Battle of The Bands. Playing guitar and singing, Ciara came 1st in Foroige’s Got Talent National final, and came 2nd in two other years.

With a first-class honours Bachelor’s Degree in Science in Early Childhood Education, Ciara employs engaging teaching techniques to make music exploration and instrument learning enjoyable for all kids. In her dissertation, Ciara studied how music supports the overall development and wellbeing for children. She has experience teaching music in primary schools and being involved in a school choir. She fosters the interest of music, encouraging children to express themselves musically and cultivate a love for music from a young age.
