In Keys & Strings we believe that by learning an instrument children not only develop their musical talent but also their learning skills in general. Music tuition is known to have many benefits such as improving reading & comprehension skills, maths & logical thinking as well as developing discipline. Additionally, music helps children in expressing themselves, and can be very beneficial in reducing anxiety and stress.

In Keys & Strings we strongly believe that students at any age can learn how to play an instrument as well as singing. We are very proud of the progress made by our adult students in the last four years and we always welcome new mature students in our school!

Music Medals classes in Keys & Strings are based on Dalcroze and Kodaly’s method of early music education.

The classes have been carefully researched and designed collaboratively by Keys & Strings teachers to deliver the highest quality material and learning experience for young children.

Designed for young students who want to learn the piano in a fun and sociable environment. The classes guide students through the foundations of piano playing and theory with the help of a fully qualified piano teacher and fun materials. The classes also focus on aural training and developing a musical ear through music games.

An excellent introduction for young students, who wish to take up guitar or drums in the future. Throughout the classes, children learn the basics of ukulele and drum playing as well as music theory in a simplified way.
