INDIVIDUAL CLASSES AGES 5+

In Keys & Strings, we believe that by learning an instrument children not only develop their musical talent but also their learning skills in general. Music tuition is known to have many benefits such as improving reading & comprehension skills, maths & logical thinking as well as developing discipline. Additionally, music helps children in expressing themselves, and can be very beneficial in reducing anxiety and stress.

We strongly believe all types of learners should have equal access to music education, therefore it is very important for parents to inform us to if their children have any learning needs/disabilities in order for our teachers to use appropriate teaching techniques and materials.

We believe communication, mutual understanding and respect as well as positive environment in the class are the key to successful instrumental tuition. Whether our students want to learn an instrument for pleasure or in order to do the exams, it is our goal to deliver the highest level of learning and teaching to all children. Therefore, we ensure students establish good posture and technique when playing an instrument/singing from the very beginning. Additionally, our classes also inlclude elements of theory, musicianship and aural training.

In Keys & Strings we provide classes for children in variety of instruments in genres such as classical, popular, rock and Irish traditional. Our teachers are qualified to a third level in music and are Garda vetted.
