Amy began learning classical piano at the age of five. She started studying at the Royal Irish Academy of Music from the age of nine, where she completed her pianoforte grade exams and senior advanced level exams.

Amy has competed in several piano competitions, winning prizes in the Feis Ceoil, Newpark Music Festival, EPTA Ireland and RIAM Piano Fest. She has played in numerous concerts in the National Concert Hall and RDS. She has attended many classical piano masterclasses with pianists such as John O’Conor, Finghin Collins and Steven Osbourne.

Amy is interested in a variety of music genres and enjoys doing accompaniment work, busking and composing her own music. Currently she works as a piano teacher, teaching a mixture of music theory, classical, and Pop music to her students. She aims to create a positive learning environment in her lessons, where her students are praised for their work.
