RIAM EXAMS ACCOMPANIMENT STUDENTS
RIAM Practical LIVE Exams
If you have received a text informing you that your child—or you, as an adult student— are ready to sit the Royal Irish Academy Practical Live Exam, and you wish for us to proceed with the exam application, please confirm by sending us a message by Monday, 24th of March, 7pm. The exam will be held in our school, on one of the Sundays in May.
Along with your confirmation, kindly provide the following information:
1. Full name to appear on the certificate.
2. Learning needs or disabilities you or you child might have (if applicable).
3. Inconvinient dates to sit the exam (if applicable).
Please note that, violin, flute, and singing students must rehearse with a piano accompanist before their exam and also have accompaniment on the exam day. A professional piano accompanist will be provided, and an additional fee applies:
- Rehearsal: €25 for 30 minutes, €50 for 45 minutes (music theatre singing students only)
- Exam day: Music theatre singing students €50. All other instruments and classical singing €25 (for grades up to 5) or €30 (for grades 6-8).
Please note that these fees are separate from the exam fee and must be paid to us in cash by the 8th of April.
